Please make sure that your CV includes:
- your permanent contact address (and current details, if different), email address and telephone/fax numbers;
- your full date of birth;
- your qualifications; and
- your professional and consultancy experience, the most recent first. Please indicate country, donor/employer, dates, your role and a brief description of your responsibilities.
When sending your CV, please indicate
- your expected daily fee rate; and
- the approximate length of consultancy that you would consider (e.g. up to 2 weeks, 6 months, over 1 year etc)
When we
receive your CV we will send you an acknowledgement email. We will
assess your CV and, if we judge that we are likely to be able to
work together, we will add your details to our database. Information
on our database is kept in line with the Data Protection Act.
Sometimes we receive CVs that are excellent but do not match our
clients’ requirements. If this is the case, we will let you know.

There are many different types of consultancy on offer, from one-day desk-based assignments and short-term assignments of 1-3 weeks, to medium-term contracts of 3-6 months and long-term resident in-country work.
What happens after I have registered with MUSTASHAAR?
When we have a consultancy opportunity that matches your skills and experience we will contact you to ask if you are interested. We will send you terms of reference and any other information about the assignment.
If your name is put forward for selection, we will let you know the outcome as soon as possible. If the client selects you, we will tell you which of our Project Officers will be responsible for organizing your contract and logistics.
At the end of the assignment we are always interested in feedback on the process and/or the job itself. This helps to make sure that, in future, we send you information on the most suitable or interesting assignments for you.
